After two deadly shootings in two days in the south Sacramento area, residents are pleading for peace.

The first shooting happened early Tuesday morning near Max Baer Park in Sacramento city limits. Investigators said the victim, Adrian Hutchins, 21, was found shot in the upper torso.

The second shooting happened just after 1 a.m. Wednesday near 39th Street and 44th Avenue in Sacramento County, four miles away from Tuesday's shooting.

Police don't know if the two shootings are connected.
