Anyone else a fan of survival shows? No, not Survivor, but real survival shows like Survivorman? There are a couple other shows out there like I Shouldn't be Alive, but those are reenactments. I recently got into Survivorman and set our DVR to record all the shows I can find, but they seem to be a year or two old. Is it off the air?

Survivorman is a good show, but I prefer Man Vs. Wild. Bear Grylls is crazy! He's ex British special forces, a black belt in karate, the youngest person to reach the summit of Mt Everest and return alive..... in the show the dude parachutes into places, runs down mountains, eats raw fish, caught and ate a rattle snake, swam across the Colorado River, and so many other insane things! According to a post on his message board, next season is supposed to be even more insane!

I set all of the Man vs. Wild episodes I could to record on our DVR and watched one. It's similar, but quite a bit different. It's not so much like an avg. Joe getting lost while kayaking or mountain biking. It's definitely entertaining though! Big Grin
